December 21st: End of semester reflection

Hello! It has been awhile since I've made a post so I've decided to reflect on how my first semester of grad school has gone. Overall, it was an awesome experience! I've met many awesome people in Montana and got to visit some cool places such as Glacier National Park, National Bison Range, Discovery Ski Area, Philipsburg, and various breweries in Missoula. Missoula, MT has been a cool place to live in so far. The people are friendly, the food and beer is great, and the mountain views are endless!

Regarding school, I got to learn a lot of new techniques and methods in lab while working on my research and helping on other projects. I really enjoyed my graduate classes and am proud to say that I got my first 4.0 GPA! I'm glad to take a little break and enjoy time home for the holidays and I look forward to another semester of classes, lab work, and conferences.

Thanks for reading this and Happy Holidays!
